Irregular Arts

Irregular Arts is a Bradford-based company that creates provocative performances, entertaining events and peculiar projects. They are led by Artistic Director Jenny Wilson, working in collaboration with a range of other brilliant and unique artists.

They believe in the power of the arts to engage, challenge, delight and change people’s view of the world we live in. Their work creates opportunities to make this happen.

They like working with popular stories or ideas and familiar characters, turning these into something a bit more unexpected or strange, but still entertaining.

They work on the streets, in community centres, online and on screen, in theatres and arts centres, at festivals and in public spaces, connecting the arts with people.

The company was recently awarded substantial Arts Council funding to develop Echoes of Oz, a huge community and arts project in Bradford, inspired by The Wizard of Oz.
