Bird’s Nest Billy

Bird’s Nest Billy follows curly haired brothers Billy and Bo. The two are inseparable until Bo starts school and Billy feels lost. He doesn’t know how to play alone. Suddenly a magical bird chirps out of his curly, bird’s nest hair and grants him three wishes…

Fidget Theatre bring Billy’s fantastical wishes to life with their trademark wit and warmth, blending imaginative storytelling, puppetry and playful audience interaction. Bird’s Nest Billy is an adventurous, playful show for 3-7 year olds and their grown-ups.

As well as an original sound design from Ed Heaton, the imaginative and colourful world of Bird’s Nest Billy reunites Fidget with set and costume designer Emma Williams, who has taken inspiration from artist Hundertwasser to bring it to life.

Bird’s Nest Billy toured nationally toured in 2019.
