Adam Z. Robinson

Adam is a writer, performer and founding member of The Book of Darkness and Light.

Their first play The Book of Darkness & Light (from which the company took its name) toured extensively in 2016-18.

His follow-up show, Shivers, toured the UK in 2018-19 to more than 30 theatres. In December 2019, his adaptation of A Christmas Carol embarked on its first national tour and sold out at venues up and down the country.

He is also the writer of Conscientious (national tour 2014), Seaside Terror (with Odd Doll Puppet Theatre) and the short film The Split (dir. Ed Rigg, starring Edward Hogg).

Adam is also currently co-writing Smile Club with Andrea Heaton, a brand new piece of theatre produced by Red Ladder Theatre Company, touring in 2020.
