Adam Z. Robinson

Adam Z. Robinson is a writer of theatre, short fiction and film. LittleMighty is working with him on spooky ghost stories show The Book of Darkness & Lightand his new piece The Accidents.

His play Conscientious toured the UK in autumn 2014. The monologue, directed by Alex Chisholm and performed by Rachel Ashwanden, was developed as part of the Summer Sublets residency at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.

He is author of several other stage productions, including Little Red (Edinburgh Fringe 2008) and Bad House (co-written with Lucy Arnold, NSDF 2010). In 2011 his radio play The Gibbet was longlisted for the BBC’s Alfred Bradley Bursary Award.

Adam’s short films include The Split, directed by Ed Rigg (Passenger, No Smoking). Starring Edward Hogg (Indian Summers, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell), the film had its world premiere at the Manchester Film Festival 2015.

He also Adam co-wrote and co-directed the short film Go On My Son (with Nick Coupe). The film was supported by Roundhouse, London, and funded by the Ex Animo Foundation. It was viewed online over 20,000 times in its first week of release.
