Sometimes We Play

Sometimes We Play create multi-disciplinary performances and sound installations for different audiences in theatres and public spaces. The company’s work is based on a collaborative approach led by Jamie Fletcher and LittleMighty’s own Dick Bonham. Together they have toured all over the UK, as well as receiving commissions and residencies from some of the country’s most innovative venues, including The Arches (Glasgow) and BAC (London).

As a director, Dick has regularly collaborated with Daniel Bye, recently winning a Fringe First Award for Going Viral. In 2013 he worked with Matthew Bellwood on his chilling storytelling piece, An Icy Man, which premiered at the West Yorkshire Playhouse as part of their Transform season. Together with Jamie Fletcher he worked as dramaturge on Kieran Hurley’s Hitch.

For six years Jamie Fletcher was part of Pointed Arrow Performances Core Artistic Direction team, creating a number of projects for non-theatre spaces, including The Yorkshire On-Land Boating Club. He has collaborated with a range of other artists and companies, including Ellie Harrison, Kings of England and White Rabbit Theatre Company. He is currently working on a series of experimental dance / queer films and theatre productions entitled The Dancing Bear Trilogy.
